We’re happy to announce the release of ProtoShare 9.4.7 scheduled for June 7th. This release features the addition of support for mobile swipe gestures, as well as support for both mouse-over and mouse-exit (in addition to hover). We’re also adding support for multiple pin colors in Review to help you segregate your topics into different groupings.
When configuring a component to trigger state changes, you have the option to toggle between touch settings and standard settings. Both sets of settings will usually work on either desktop or mobile. The main exception is the hover settings – as there is no mouse on mobile, hover, mouse-over and mouse-exit don’t trigger events on mobile. By using touch events, you gain access to swipe events, and your prototype will use native touch events when available to provide a better mobile experience.
Mouse in, Mouse out:
While we’ve long supported a hover action, we’ve added mouse in and mouse out, to provide you with additional control. You can still use the hover action if that suits your needs (it requires a little less configuration).
We’ve added support for 5 different pin colors in review. You can switch the color when you create a topic, or when viewing a topic you own. When creating a new topic, ProtoShare will also remember the group of users you last used for that color, which ensures that you can quickly invite the right group of users to the right discussions.
We’ve also added a checkmark to all ‘Resolved’ topic pins, so you’ll be able to see at a glance which topics have been resolved.
We hope you enjoy these changes. Keep the feedback coming, we love to hear from our users!
