I wanted to do a quick post to congratulate filmmaker Joe Swanberg on his most recent work, “Drinking Buddies“, starring Olivia Wilde, Jake M. Johnson, Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston. For those of you who don’t know, Joe is a major figure in the mumblecore film movement, a prolific film maker and an all-around great guy.
Why are we giving Joe props on the ProtoShare blog? Joe used to work here. In 2005 and 2006, Joe worked for the predecessor company to ProtoShare. Back in those days, we were an interactive agency, and Joe put together a short commercial for us to run at the Chicago International Film Festival.
One of our engineers managed to unearth the video. So here it is, a long-lost Joe Swanberg original. Congrats again to Joe, and best wishes from everyone here.
