Came across a nice article about smoothing the handoff from designers to developers. This article reiterates something we’ve talked about a lot – prototyping and process can help create a shared understanding between developers and UX’ers. Ultimately, the best hand-off is no hand-off at all, but rather a continuous, iterative process based on communication and working closely together.
I love to see ideas bouncing from UX and developers, and from developers back to UX’ers. Creating a shared understanding, getting everyone on the same page early and keeping communication open and easy will make your projects run faster, smoother and produce better results. Using ProtoShare is a great way to make this communication part of your team’s DNA.
